On Nov 7, 2006 the republicans lost the house and the senate.  The media has been buzzing with experts dissecting why this happened. Some say the culture of corruption some say the War in Iraq but I disagree with both explanations. The republicans lost the house and senate because of immigration.

How can that be you ask? It is simple read on.

Corruption no matter how distasteful has always happened and will continue to happen. The democrats have been and will continue to be just as corrupt as they are so fond of pointing out the republicans are.

So the next big reason for the republican loss was the War in Iraq. I will be the first to admit that the media has done everything in there power to relive Vietnam.

But that is not the reason either. You see the American people are smart and they know what’s really going on with the War in Iraq and the entire War on Terror.  They understand that we have enemies that wish to destroy us. That every day that goes by without us being attacked is a victory.

But what they don’t understand is how you can say with one breath “Stay the Course” in Iraq and with the other breath say “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.

You can’t tell me that the Iraq war is necessary and then completely turn a blind eye to our borders and immigration and let millions illegally living under the radar in the United States to continue to do so.

I am so sick and tired of politicians crying saying that there are too many illegal aliens in the U.S. and the only way to win is to give in. It doesn’t matter how they package it. Reform, Amnesty they both mean giving up.

I bet General Patton is just spinning in his grave. What happened to the American can do attitude? You ask me how you deport 20 million illegals. ………………

Mark my words the beltway bunch will pass some kind of garbage immigration legislation this year and by the year 2016 we will be dealing with the same problem all over again. Only worse, much worse.

Me & my family have already voted and soon my friends will also. We have all discussed the issues and we voted for the best possible candidates. Now this is where my story comes in.

In S. Florida when you go to the voting location you always have half a dozen campaign workers outside thrusting pamphlets in your direction for different candidates and as I walked towards the voting location another voter behind me said “Don’t worry if he is a democrat  I’m already voting for him!” to one of the campaign workers.  I thought to myself; why are Americans voting like that? Why are Americans voting along party lines? Why aren’t voters voting for the best possible candidate? This two party system has become so partisan that the middle class has absolutely no representation anymore in government. Career politicians have turned a noble calling into a business and that must be stopped. I was very disheartened to watch the Florida Gubernatorial Debate last week because I truly felt neither candidate wanted to do right by me the American Taxpayer.    

So I plead with all of you that have yet to vote. Research your candidates. Vote for the candidate that will best represent you and help break this disgusting partisan way of doing politics that the career politicians & the media have encouraged for so long.

Lou Dobbs has a poll on his show every night. On Friday 10/06/06 he poised the following question, “Do you believe the major political parties are representing your interests? “ 
Now that’s a million dollar question. Which major party represents me?

The Democratic Party to me represents at the very least the party of the Hollywood Elitist. They do what feels & sounds good and not what’s right. They don’t practice what they preach; they favor high taxes for the working classes while they take advantage of the tax loopholes.  They despise Judeo-Christian values (the foundation of our nation’s laws) but will embrace all others. I.e. Scientology & Kabbalah & Islam. The majority are anti-second amendment and pro special interest. I could go on and on their many platforms of socialized medicine or wealth redistribution schemes but I wont bother. If you’re reading my Blog I am sure you already get the point. Don’t forget about their pro-illegal alien stance.

Now on the other hand we have the Republican Party. Sure they are pro-second amendment and they talk a good game in many areas; basically standing against for what ever insanity the democrats represent. But are they really representing me as the average taxpaying American. I am a fiscal conservative. The republicans are in power so I hold them responsible for all the bad spending decisions. The republicans are in power so I hold them responsible for all the government mismanagement. The republicans are in power and I hold them all responsible for not taking it to the democrats in the last six years. And don't get me started on there pandering to lobbyist and catering to big business.

They might lose the upcoming election and they have no one to blame but themselves. Americans like me put them in power and they have not done right by us. Oh and don’t forget about their pro-illegal alien stance.

 

Who represents me?

No Taxation without Representation!!!......................hmmm? Where have I heard that before?

 

1. Reduce amount of paperwork that is generated during an immigration arrest. Documentation should be limited to.
1. Arrest Report
2. Charge
3. Photo
4. Fingerprints 

2. Reduce amount of aliens that have access to an Immigration Judge if the aliens are indeed illegal.

3. Build tent cities to hold illegal aliens. If tent cities are good enough for U.S. troops then they are good enough for illegal aliens. 

4. Increase work visas for job markets that can show a genuine need for finding new employees. Lawful, orderly immigration should be the path to U.S. citizenship.
   

5. Nonimmigrant Aliens that commit any type of crime in the U.S. to exclude simple traffic infractions shall be deported from the United States.   

6. Fine employers that hire illegal aliens. Incarcerate employers that are repeat offenders in hiring illegal aliens. Provide viable identification method for employers.

7. Repeat immigration offenders are to be detained & placed in work camps to clean up U.S. Cities, highways and any general labor that is needed by State & Local Municipal Governments. 

8. Close the ‘Anchor Baby” Loophole the 14^th Amendment, of the U.S. Constitution provides illegal aliens. Simply put, the children of illegal aliens do not derive citizenship from being born in the U.S. due to their parent’s illegal/criminal behavior.

9. Immigrant Aliens that commit any type of crime in the U.S. to exclude simple traffic infractions shall not be eligible for U.S. Citizenship.  
   

10. Illegal aliens should be identified during routine police encounters.

11. Aliens under arrest should be identified during routine booking at local jails. 

12. Allow Federal Officers & Agents to enforce the nation’s immigrations laws.

When I was twenty two years old, I went to work for my father. Now my dad and I spent a lot of time driving around South Florida and as anyone who has spent a significant amount of time in a vehicle knows you sometimes get tired of listening to music all the time so we started listening to talk radio. There was this radio host named Neil Rogers on the AM dial and he would do these funny bits and insult people and hang up on them and it would make our day. It was funny as heck. Now at the time I considered my self pretty liberal. WTH? Well I was young and didn’t know any better. In fact I really did not know what being a liberal was other than a majority of the other college age kids were also.

So I continue, with time I eventually started to really listen to the show and what Neil Rogers was saying. First thing I noticed was that when callers would call into Mr. Rogers show and disagree with him he would get really mad and call them names, hang up on them and would not let them finish the point they were trying to make. I mean it is his show and he can do whatever he wants, but it got me thinking why doesn’t he at least hear the other guy out? I mean the truth is the truth right? The problem is that sometimes the truth hurts. Sometimes after he hanged up on a caller he would keep calling the caller names but would not rebut what the caller had said. In other words he was controlling what was being said on his show and that made me feel uneasy. Then the other thing I picked up on was Rush Limbaugh. I had no idea who or what Rush Limbaugh was but boy did Neil Rogers hate him. He used to refer to him as LardAss Limbaugh and other such names. Neil Rogers used to blow a gasket when mentioning Mr. Limbaugh and I could not understand for the life of me why he would get so mad?  So I tracked down Mr. Rush Limbaugh and listened and read what he had to say and the rest you can say is history. I also would like to make it clear that although I agree with the majority of things Mr. Limbaugh sais I don't agree with all of it........but I'm sure if I called Mr. Limbaughs show he would let me speak and would not berate me or hang up on me without letting me have my say.

 

So in short Thank You Mr. Neil Rogers for helping me change my way of thinking.

I watch the sham the United Nations is and I think to myself why do we put up with this? The United Nations as an organization is completely ineffective.  Do you know how long Kofi Atta Annan has been the Secretary General of the United Nations? I will tell you, since Jan 01, 1997. He is going on ten years! What a joke! That is not an appointment it is a career choice. Rwanda? Sudan? Iraq? Disarming Hezbolla? Oil for Food? Ineffective leadership and corruption seems the only thing the U.N. is good for.
No matter what your political affiliation. No matter whether you approve of the Iraq war or even if you vehemently approve or disapprove of President Bush. Never forget the United Nations is a farce and routinely follows an anti american agenda. And if your an American that means they are anti-you!

El Dicktator Chavez is right move the U.N. to Caracas, Vz!

But after my emotions settle down I can see the real wisdom of keeping the United Nations in New York.
